The work on this page is from my sophomore year at the University of Minnesota, Spring 2017. The work included was my exhibition for the course Design & Discontents. For the exhibition, I made a coffee table book which was supposed to contradict and disarm the social construction on beauty. Each page is paired with a line of a poem I wrote, which I hand wrote to add a more personal aspect. The Artist statement is attached for further explanation.
The final product was hard cover with a hand sewn spine.
